Domingos has been in the insurance industry since 1986 where he started as a tied agent with Old Mutual after a brief career in the retail industry. Although Domingos became one of the top agents in the branch, he quickly realised that in order to provide his clients with the best advice possible he would need to be able to offer them a variety of choices. He branched out and obtained the relevant contracts and knowledge in order to do just that, eventually starting Domini Consulting cc in September 2000.

- NQF5 Certificate in Financial Planning – Milpark Business School (2010)
- Regulatory Exam – RE 1 Key Individual – Moonstone
- Regulatory Exam – RE 5 Representative – Moonstone
- INSETA Introduction to Insurance, SMP (Personal Insurance), SMK (Commercial Insurance)
